It is no secret that Melania and Barron are VERY close. Melania is extremely protective of her beloved 11 year old son and has done all she can to keep him out of the spotlight to ensure he gets a perfectly normal upbringing. She is an amazing mother and also a brilliant first lady.
This week on September the 6th was America’s National Book Day and Melania did her bit to encourage everyone to take some time out of their day to sit down and read a book. She took to Twitter to share this message, but she didn’t just stop there.
Melania revealed that one of the best and most enjoyable things that Barron enjoys reading with Melania is Dr. Seuss’ Oh, the Places You’ll Go! and in traditional good will she is sending Dr. Seuss books to schools all over the country. She will be giving a single school in every single state a package of ten books including classics like Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and of course, Oh, the Places You’ll Go!
Every single package will contain a letter from the First lady which will say:
“Getting an education is perhaps the most important and wondrous opportunity of your young lives…Remember, the key to achieving your dreams begins with learning to read.”

I cannot believe how sweet and considerate this is. I wish I could see all of the smiles on the faces of the children who have received a special gift from their first lady.
Melania really does have a real heart of gold and clearly is putting America first. Let’s try and get this positive news out there by SHARING this FAR and WIDE so that everyone sees it and Melania can put a smile on their face also!
